Terms Entered in Search
A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is transmitted to the third-party provider that operates that search service. Grant County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy terms govern its receipt and handling of the query.
Email and Contact Messages
When a visitor sends an email or uses a contact form, the submitted address, message, and related details are retained as needed to read and answer the request. Contact messages are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.
Information Collected Automatically
Routine technical data may be recorded when a browser loads a page. This information supports site operation, traffic measurement, security, and troubleshooting. Depending on the service used to process a visit, the data may include:
- The internet protocol address associated with the request
- The browser name and version
- The device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent on them

Advertising partners may use their own cookies or related technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. That processing occurs on the partner's systems, not on systems controlled by Grant County Released Inmates.

Grant County Released Inmates does not sell personal information. Data may nevertheless reach a service provider or public authority when needed for the purposes described in this notice, including:

Reasonable, standard safeguards are used to protect information under the site's control. No website, network, storage service, or internet transmission can be promised as fully secure. Grant County Released Inmates therefore cannot guarantee that a security incident will never occur.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and the limits of what is held, a visitor may ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal information held about that visitor
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete personal information where erasure is available
- Opt out of certain processing when the law provides that choice
Changes to This Notice
This Privacy Notice may be revised as the site, service providers, or legal requirements change. A revised notice takes effect when it is posted here with an updated effective date.
